Can I sign in using my existing CAR or MRED account credentials? 

No, the username and password in the CAR Learning Portal are different than the CAR and MRED websites. Click here for instructions on creating an account.

When will I receive my Certificate of Completion or Course Transcripts? 

You will receive an e-mail copy of your course transcript within five (5) business days of the completion of your course. Keep these documents in a safe place, you will need them when you apply for your state license and/or should you ever be audited by IDFPR.  * Make sure to check your spam and junk mail!*

CAR LEARNING PORTAL TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS 

What are the system requirements? 

LearnUpon is supported on most popular browsers, including: 

  • Google Chrome 

  • Mozilla Firefox 

  • Apple Safari 

  • Microsoft Edge  

  • Currently, LearnUpon maintains support for Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 10. LearnUpon does not support Internet Explorer 11 running in compatibility mode. 

You can resolve most issues if you: 

  • Switch Browsers – use Google Chrome or Firefox instead of Internet Explorer. 

  • Clear your Cache and do not save login or password for this site 

  • Remove pop up blocker;  Follow these instructions to disable pop-up blocker in Google Chrome. 

If the course still does not load: 

  • Close all other applications and tabs (i.e. iTunes, Facebook, YouTube, etc.) and reopen 

  • If on a wireless connection, try a wired connection. 

  • Try rebooting the computer 

  • Do not save the password and disable all popup blockers 

  • Try accessing from a different device

How can I take my courses? 

  • Classroom Courses – courses delivered in person at a specified time and location. Course materials are provided upon checking in for your course on the first day of class. 

  • Webinar Courses – courses delivered live through a virtual classroom such as zoom at a specified time. Course materials are provided through the RRES Learning Portal upon registration. 

  • Online Courses (Self-Paced) – Self-paced learning delivered through the RRES Learning Portal. 

  • Self-Study Courses – Self-paced learning where students receive course materials via mail to complete readings and assignments. A passing score on the proctored final exam is required for self-study courses.
