New REALTORS®, wondering where you even start with your business? In this comprehensive course, we cover the many components of getting started and running a successful real estate business. Covered are topics such as creating a business plan, marketing strategy, and the law. This course is comprised of several different modules, virtual and self-paced.  Intended Audience: New licensed brokers with 0-3 years of work experience.   Length of course: 6-8 hours, though you can leave and come back. The New Member Orientation program provides an introduction into what it means to be a Chicago REALTOR®.  In addition to learning all things REALTOR® related, you'll also learn how to conduct yourself professionally and ethically; covering topics from Fair Housing and Anti-trust, to the MLS and business tools. Complete this training to discover how your membership works for you!   This course is required for new members to the association and must be completed within 90 days of joining. Existing members are welcome to take this training at any time to get reacquainted & updated on all the new benefits and programs to help your business grow!   NOTE: This is an online, self-paced course. There is no live instructor, and you may save your progress after each module. New members have 90 days from their join date with CAR to complete this training.
