All members applying for REALTOR® membership for the first time OR reinstating membership after being inactive for more than 1 year are required to complete a New Member Code of Ethics training within their first 120 days of membership. After your New Member training, a renewal training on the Code of Ethics will be required every 3 years. The New Member Orientation program provides an introduction into what it means to be a Chicago REALTOR®.  In addition to learning all things REALTOR® related, you'll also learn how to conduct yourself professionally and ethically; covering topics from Fair Housing and Anti-trust, to the MLS and business tools. Complete this training to discover how your membership works for you!   This course is required for new members to the association and must be completed within 120 days of joining. Existing members are welcome to take this training at any time to get reacquainted & updated on all the new benefits and programs to help your business grow!   NOTE: This is an online, self-paced course. There is no live instructor, and you may save your progress after each module. New members have 120 days from their join date with CAR to complete this training.
